17/09/04 - Supporting Dr Teeth

This was a fantastically sucessful gig supporting another brilliant big band, Dr. Teeth. We were on first and after an intense warm-up in the music room, we were welcomed to the stage with applause from the home crowd in the Levi Fox Hall. We played a set of 12 songs plus an encore. Dr. Teeth followed us with an extended set and played really well from start to finish.

This was another great experience for the whole band and we've all taken a lot from it.

Our set list contained a miscellany of our greatest hits including:

Chatanooga Choo Choo by Harry Warren and Mack Gordon, solos from Double Sharpy and Teddy T,

Go Daddy-O by Scotty Morris, solo from Will "the Beacon" Deacon and

Moon River by Henry Mancini, solo from Richie Harrison.

Our encore was Great Balls of Fire by Otis Blackwell and Jack Hammer with solos from Teddy T and Bushy/Twiggy.
