18/07/05 - K.E.S End of Year Concert

The end of another school year brought another excellent End of Year Concert. From solo performances to choirs, all participants played (or sang) fantastically. As is tradition, King Eddie's Revival Big Band finished the evening in style with three new pieces (including a different version of "The Lady is a Tramp") and an encore. The crowd were kind after a long evening of top-class music and it was a great night, particularly for all those in the Upper Sixth who's last concert this was. Thanks to all those who came and supported everyone.

1) The Pink Panther by Henry Mancini, solos from Bushy.

2) Song For Claudio by Martin Winch, solos from Maestro, Will "the Beacon" Deacon and George "Mildred" Nava.

3) The Lady is a Tramp by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart, with vocals from Willie Blue Eyes.
