King Eddies Revival Big Band
12/11/05 - Mrs. Harrison's Birthday

Family and friends of Judith Harrison, mother of our 1st Trombonist, joined to celebrate Judith's 50th birthday at the Bidford Memorial Hall.  The band had been invited to play and happily leapt at the chance of another gig.  We played two sets and two encores and the band was in a rather funny shape, with Tom Sharp still recovering from his broken wrist and myself (David Twigg) nursing a broken collar bone.  And sadly "Willie Blue Eyes", Will Robinson, was unable to sing due to a cold and so Robert Busiakiewicz took the chance to drop his sax and grab the mike for the vocal numbers.  Everybody enjoyed the music and the audience did come out to dance and Judith in particular was very pleased.  It was a great evening and the band played well, away from the safety of the Levi Fox Hall (for a change!)
