King Eddies Revival Big Band
17/07/06 - K.E.S End of Year Concert

At the end of another school year, the band capped off the ever-excellent End of Year Concert once again.  Most excitingly, however, three of the four pieces played were performed by next year's band, including two new members joining the K.E.S Sixth Form next year - Kieran Ford and Alex Berry - and the sound was excellent.  For the last number (and for the last time) our two leavers played a Glenn Miller classic.  Ed "E flat" Minor on the baritone sax and James "Armie" Armitage on the bass guitar will be handing over their positions to Sam Gorick and Luke "Tez" Terry respectively.  The songs played were welcomed by the large audience and at the end of another very successful year for the band, everyone is looking forward to a long holiday, the which of course we'll spend most of the time practising for next year... blatantly.
